Container Tilters

by John Begalla on 2008-08-26 10:16:16 - Email This
Container Tilters by Presto Offers Affordable Solution. When a manufacturer of automotive components called on Presto they were determined that they needed lift and tilt tables to solve their ergonomic issues. The customer's application was a typical one, operators are picking components out of wire baskets and placing them into a machining operation. The parts are small in nature and had a weight of about 45 lbs.

After evaluating their application it was determined that the proper solution was not a lift and tilt table but a container tilter model SRT-40. The SRT container tilter pivots at 28" off the ground and allows the components to roll towards the operator as needed. This solution was not only more ergonomically correct but it saved the customer a little more than $3000 per station.
